Dr. Russell L. Storms is the President, CTO, and Co-Founder of ParallelTalk Communications, and inventor of the Multilingual Simultaneous Announcement System (MSAS). He has a BS in Computer Science from the United States Military Academy, West Point, New York and a MS and Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey, California. His dissertation Auditory-Visual Cross-Modal Perception Phenomena provided some of the first-ever empirical data exploring the intersensory or cross-modal effects between the auditory and visual sense modalities for use within virtual environments. Dr. Storms has a diverse Interdisciplinary background including: Computer Science, Information Technology, Informatics, Modeling & Simulation, Virtual Environments, Acoustics, Psychoacoustics, Experimental Psychology, Experimental Design, Synesthesia, Music, Aviation Science, Military Science, Military Health, and Helicopter pilot.
Mr. Stewart Brown is the CEO and Co-Founder of ParallelTalk Communications. Mr. Brown has more than forty-five years experience in commercial banking, finance, management consulting, and military command and staff positions in the US and abroad. Mr. Brown is a Principal in Dunkirk Partners, a consulting firm in Washington, DC, and currently serves as a director of Wheeler REIT, a publicly traded real estate investment trust, and The Army Distaff Foundation, a charitable organization that owns and operates Knollwood, the Army's flagship continuing care retirement community in Washington, DC. Mr. Brown has held the post of Chairman of the Board at Opportunity Bank, a commercial bank in Dallas Texas, and at Lodgian, Inc., a publicly traded hotel company headquartered in Atlanta, GA. He was also a director of Community and Southern Bank, a denovo commercial bank in Atlanta, which successfully acquired fifteen banks across the south over a six-year period and which was recently merged in Bank of the Ozarks.
